FAQ
Returns, Warranties & Cancellations
We have a standard return window of 30 days if unused and in original condition. Please see our full return policy at https://homehavenwellness.com/policies/refund-policy
Yes. All saunas, cold plunges, and devices are backed by manufacturer warranties, which typically cover defects in materials and workmanship for a set period. This is generally 1-2 years depending on the manufacturer. If you experience an issue, we can help coordinate with the manufacturer.
We can often modify or cancel an order if it has not yet been processed or shipped. Because many items ship quickly or are prepared for freight, please contact us as soon as possible at support@homehavenwellness.com with your order number.
If your order arrives with visible damage to the packaging, please note it with the delivery driver and take photos. Open and inspect your product as soon as you can. If there is damage, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the box and the product so we can help file a claim and arrange repair or replacement according to the brand’s policy.
Orders & Shipping
We currently ship within the United States. Most products include free shipping within the continental U.S. Any shipping costs or surcharges will be clearly shown at checkout and on the product page.
Shipping times depend on the product and whether it is in stock, made to order, or freight shipped. Many smaller items arrive in about 5 to 10 business days.
Larger items such as saunas and cold plunges that are already pre-built, often ship within 1 to 3 business days and deliver within 5 to 15 business days depending on your location and the carrier.
Saunas that are made to order will take 2-4 weeks to build. They will be delivered within 2-6 weeks of order being placed.
Not always. If you order multiple products or a product with separate components (for example a sauna and a cold plunge), items may arrive in more than one shipment and possibly from different warehouses or brands.
At this time, Home Haven Wellness focuses on U.S. customers. If you are outside the United States and interested in a particular product, please contact us and we can let you know if any special arrangements are possible.
Delivery & Installation
In many areas, we can help coordinate upgraded services such as in-home placement or professional installation through our partners. Availability and cost depend on your location and the specific product. Contact us before placing your order if you need this and we will walk you through the options.
Most of our saunas arrive as prefabricated kits with pre-cut panels and hardware. Two to three adults can typically assemble an infrared or traditional sauna in a few hours with basic tools. Barrel and larger outdoor units may take longer. Each product includes a detailed installation guide, and many brands offer video support as well.
Many smaller saunas and devices plug into a standard 110V outlet. Larger saunas and some cold plunges require a dedicated 220V or 240V circuit. Please refer to the electrical specifications on each product page. For any hardwired or higher voltage unit, we strongly recommend hiring a licensed electrician.
Saunas
Traditional saunas use a heater and stones to warm the air and create steam when water is poured on the rocks. Infrared saunas use infrared heaters that warm the body directly at lower air temperatures. Both can support relaxation, circulation, and recovery. Traditional saunas tend to feel hotter and steamy, while infrared sessions feel gentler and more gradual.
Most people use a sauna about 3 to 5 times per week, and some use it daily. Session times commonly range from 10 to 30 minutes depending on your experience level and comfort. Always listen to your body and consult your healthcare provider if you have any medical conditions.
Many of our infrared saunas are engineered with low EMF technology. Product pages will specify when a model is designed as low EMF or ultra low EMF. If that is especially important to you, we are happy to help you choose the best model.
We carry both indoor and outdoor saunas. Outdoor models are built with specific materials and roofs to withstand weather. Indoor saunas should only be used in dry, protected spaces. Please check the product description to confirm whether a sauna is rated for outdoor use.
Cold Plunges
Some cold plunge tubs include a dedicated chiller, and others are designed to be used with ice or a compatible chiller purchased separately. The “What’s Included” section on each product page will clearly state whether a chiller is included.
Typical cold plunge temperatures range from about 39°F to 55°F. Beginners often start on the higher end and gradually work down as their comfort and experience grow. Always practice safe exposure, especially if you are new to cold therapy.
Many people start with 30 seconds to 2 minutes and build up slowly. Experienced users may choose 3 to 5 minutes per session. It is important to listen to your body, exit if you feel unwell, and speak with a healthcare provider if you have any cardiovascular or medical concerns.
Most cold plunge systems use a combination of filtration and sanitation, such as ozone or UV. We recommend following the maintenance guidelines provided by the manufacturer on the product page and in the included manual. Regularly checking filters, cleaning surfaces, and refreshing water as needed will keep your plunge fresh and safe.
